I love the classy look of a French manicure! Natural but still glamorous, not too flashy but still conspicuous. It's easy to do too! And it lasts longer than regular nail polish, possibly because the white nail polish is thicker than the colored type. Here are my French manicure tips! Follow these tips and you will get compliments wherever you show up.
You will need:
Natural nail polish (light pink or creme)
white nail polish
clear nail polish
That's it! Let's start. Here's what you're gonna do:
Get rid of any old nail polish using some nail polish remover.
Make sure your nails are filed and have the desired shape before you start.
Remove dead cuticles and push the rest of them back. Wash your hands and dry thoroughly.
Start by applying natural nail polish to the nails. Let it dry for a bit. It doesn't have to be completely dry to go to the next step, just enough so that the nails are all wet.
Apply the white nail polish to the tip of the nail from one corner to the other. This can be tricky so start with the left hand (it's hard enough to do it without nail polish on the right hand). Fill in any spaces that you've missed right away before the nail polish dries. If you find it difficult, it could help if you rotate your hand a bit while keeping the brush almost still.
Let it dry completely.
when dry, apply the clear nail polish on the entire nail. You can do this regularly, every day or every two days to prevent it from chipping.
Good luck with your French manicure!
